About Us
Since it was founded in December 2008, Stone House Events has become one of the best afro-centric events promotion entities in Australia. It has every ingredient, the small newcomer taking on the giant and complacent establishment, introducing better quality, innovative and affordable events.
The Australia-Africa Golf Challenge is the quintessential Stone House story.
The annual Africa Ball has also been well received with the inaugural dinner held in December 2009 sold out, well before the event.
From those early days and humble beginnings the events promotion business has gone from strength to strength.

Stone House Events is based in Melbourne and though our events are afro-centric we are dedicated to promoting and producing great events to all Australians regardless of their cultural backgrounds.

We would like to showcase the positive contributions of African Australians to multicultural Australia by promoting business and social networking amongst Australians of African origin and the Australian community at large.

The golf tournaments are held every quarter throughout the year in January, April, July, and October and the dinners are held every six months.

Stone House aims to be the premier vehicle for showcasing contetmporary culture, arts, music, sports, marketing, promoting and networking by producing quality events.

The vision is to bring together professionals from diverse backgrounds and cross-cultures for an evening of social and professional networking.
The idea is to encourage and celebrate continuing contributions and achievements of African professionals in mainstream Australia.
There is an increase in emerging entrepreneurs and an increase in various and diverse professional disciplines and we identified a need to link these people in a social and relaxed environment. There has also been an increase in the number of students graduating from higher learning institutes who need support and guidance and this provides an opportunity to meet professionals and create a support network.

Australia-Africa Golf Challenge is a tournament aimed at African Australians and any other nationals who share the interest in golf. This is an entirely social networking event to assist migrants to settle in their adopted country Australia. Being migrants it is always difficult to find friends or social events, this event has made it possible for many golfers to meet.

The idea was to get African professionals and business people who liked playing golf and those wanting to learn to participate in a quarterly golf challenge at different golf courses around Melbourne.
